IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED TODAY?
In the previous covenants we can see that alcohol was permissible during the beginning of time up until the time of Jesus, however prophet muhammed had put a law making alcohol forbidden due to the arabs exceeding the limits of alcohol use which is a law that the Muslims still obide by in this day & age. In this final covenant it has been revealed to us that alcohol is permissible and has many benefits to the human body without exceeding its limits.
Imam Al-Baqir (a.s) said: "When our Qaim rises, he will call the people to a new matter, as the Messenger of Allah (sawas) called. And verily, Islam started as something strange, and it will return as something strange, so glad tidings to the strangers." - Ghaybat Al-No’mani P336, Bihar Al-Anwar V52 P366
