"I seek your lives and I seek your salvation so help me against yourselves.
Blessed is he who slaughters his Self (his Ego) between the hands of his Lord.
Blessed is he who shall pass the obstacle.
Blessed is he who does not stumble regarding me.
Blessed are the strangers, the crazy ones in the eyes of the inhabitants of the Earth, the sane in the eyes of the inhabitants of the Heavens."

The parable of the fireman

Once a man walked down the staircase of a building. He walked out in front of it and shouted “Fire! Fire! The building is on fire!” The building was 20 stories high and all the inhabitants of the building stepped out on the balcony to see what the man was shouting. He shouted to them “The building is on fire! Jump to save your lives!” Even though they saw no smoke nor did they see any fire, some of the inhabitants of the building immediately jumped and those who jumped from the first two floors broke their bones and those who lived on the floors higher than that fell to their death. Others remained calm and waited to see if there were any flames or smoke. Others waited for the fireman. When the fireman came he spread a giant air mat, preparing a safe haven for those who jumped, then he instructed the inhabitants to jump. Those ones were saved and were not harmed. As the fireman, when in danger, God will save us without harm, while the devil will use fear to make us fall to our death. God is a light that takes us out of harm into safety. When he saves us, he shows us where to go. When he saved Salman, he did so by showing him Mohammed, when he saved Simon, he sent to him Jesus, and when he saved Arjuna, he sent to him Krishna. But never did God save anyone by sending him into the dark.
