The children of Adam have been searching for the truth since the very beginning. Over the course of history, we have split into many different groups, each group believing that they have found that truth. We do not agree on where that truth is, but what we do agree on is that there is a truth that stands against falsehood. The Jews believe that Moses and the Torah are that truth. The Christians believe that Jesus and the Gospels are that truth. And the Muslims believe that Muhammed and the Koran are that truth. Then there are the Buddhists, the Zoroastrians, the Daoist. The list goes on and on and on. Even the atheist themselves do not agree on one thing.
There are some who believe that science is the truth, while others believe that only rationality can save us. So what is it that we did not understand? How can there be so much division? Where is the missing link?
First, let's look at some of the arguments from the Atheists against religion. Some people argue that religion is not scientific. That some of the stories we find in the holy books are unrealistic and unreasonable. One of the most famous among them is a man named Richard Dawkins.
[Video is known of Richard Dawkins critizing how it is absurd to believe that Prophet Muhammad was able to fly a winged horse]
Now, let's say that the truth was that Prophet Muhammed was taken on an inter-dimensional journey by extraterrestrials that believe in God. And since the people of that time didn't have knowledge of extraterrestrials and spaceships, Prophet Mohammed had to speak to them with that which they knew. And since the way of traveling back then was by horseback, he told them that the space ship was a horse with wings. Is that scientifically possible? Yes.But would it convince a man like Richard Dawkins? Probably not. He would probably say that only Prophet Mohammed would know himself. So we have to ask him.
So then how can we criticize a book without its companion? Isn't there always a possibility for a reasonable explanation? Isn't there always a possibility for distortion and the changing of facts over the thousands of years?
So with we need the messenger to be present and if God sent him to help us and to guide us to the truth, then where is he? If he is the only door, how could God leave us to ourselves? Why and how did we lose him?
Let's go back to the time of Jesus, peace be upon him and have a look at what happened. The children of Israel at that time were waiting for a messiah to come and fill the earth with justice and equity. They were living under oppression, ruled over by the Roman pagans. The Jewish scholars had taken control over the religious aspects of life. They were telling people how to live and giving out religious rulings while they themselves led a comfortable life compared to the rest of the population.
Then Jesus came. The first man to declare that he is the awaited messiah that the Jews had been waiting for. He came with piety and lived a life at the level of the poorest among them. He put every single person before himself. The people started to follow Jesus because they had only seen goodness from him and trusted him. His way was the complete opposite of the rabbis, and by that he was exposing the hypocrisy and lavish lifestyle of the Jewish clergy.
Seeing this, the clergy started opposing him with everything they had because the success of Jesus meant their downfall and losing their wealth, their power and authority. And in order to stop him, they started spreading doubts about Jesus, fighting and defaming him. They saw Jesus as such a big threat that they even asked for the help of their former enemy. They conspired against Jesus with the tyrannical Romans who were oppressing the Jewish nation at the time. Only 12 people ended up following Jesus, and even those ran away once their lives were under threat.
Today, the Jews say that Jesus was a liar because he claimed to be the Messiah, but if he had been the truthful Messiah, that he would have calm and filled the earth with justice and equity and he wouldn't have died on the cross. But is it really that simple? All we have to do is wait around for a messiah to come and save us.
And if Jesus was truthful, then why did the people follow him?
Doesn't everybody want justice and equity? And even if the clergy was fighting him and spreading lies about him, shouldn't the truth be stronger than falsehood? And after all of the miracles that Jesus had performed for the people, how could they disbelieve in him? Jesus was calling the people to a very difficult matter. He was asking them to give away everything their wealth, abandoned their families, take their cross on their back and walk towards death. It was too big of a price for the people to pay. So they decided to abandon Jesus and call him a liar instead. Jesus was betrayed. He was let down. He announced that a messenger would come after him and that he himself would return in order to fulfill that promise.
The people did not give victory to Jesus. So God left them to their own selves and the matter got delayed. Then Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) started his call. And he was the first one to claim that he was the one mentioned by Jesus. People started believing and following him because he was known before his call as the truthful, trusted one. He had already earned the trust of the people by his conduct, his honesty, his morals and manners. The people had never seen anyone like Prophet Mohammed before, so they believed in him.
From those who believed were the Jews, the Christians, the Arabic pagans. But Judaism and Christianity as a whole denied him for the same obvious reason that the Jewish clergy denied Jesus peace be upon him. Prophet Mohammed gave them the promise that the earth will be filled with justice and equity if they follow him and his family. “O Prophet, tell people I don't ask you any wage in return for my profit hood except to love my near kin. And if anyone earns any good, we shall give him an increase of good in return for it.” On Prophet Muhammad's deathbed, he wrote a will, mentioning his successors from his family, saying that whoever holds onto this will will not go astray, meaning God would not and will not allow this will to be claimed falsely.
And so whoever follows the companion of this will is safe from misguidance after his passing. The people usurp the rights of his family, and the Muslim nation split into two.
Those who followed the family of Muhammad and those who followed their own elected caliphs. One after the other, the successors from the family of Muhammad were killed, their followers oppressed, persecuted and killed until the time of the 12th successor, Imam Al Mahdi (peace be upon him) who was supposed to come and bring justice and equity to the earth. But when Imam Al Mahdi was born, there was no body left to follow him. Everybody had abandoned the family of Muhammad. So Imam Al Mahdi went into occultation and the matter got delayed again. But he did not leave without announcing that he would return one day and with him, Jesus (peace be upon him) to fulfill the promise of God.
Knowing this history, it is clear that it is all about the messenger. There is no divine just state without him. There is no knowledge without him. No one can know God without him.
And his absence is darkness and it is a punishment from God. Religion is a man. All religions go back to a man who won the trust of his people through his interaction with them. And they started to follow him because they only saw goodness from him and believed in his claim to be a messenger of God who was mentioned in a will of a messenger before him Whether it is Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, Jesus or Mohammed. But if all of the major religions today go back to men whom all were sent by one and the same God, then why are there so many differences and incompatibilities? And where are the proofs that they are all connected?
The problem is people do not look into religion deep enough and they are not sincere. Each group is only concerned with proving that they are right and this group is wrong. Otherwise, they would have to ask themselves why do we find in the Bible names of Persian kings like Cyrus and Artaxerxes who were Zoroastrians and who believed in Ahura Mazda, but their God instructed them to help the Jews and to build the temple?
Why were the Magi led to Jesus (peace be upon him)? If their God was different than the God of Jesus?
Another connection is the concept of karma and reincarnation, which is found in all religions, although some deny it.
You've likely heard of this concept before the term karma and its relative term, reincarnation are almost exclusively associated with Eastern religions, just Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism and Daoism. But it doesn't begin or end there. The belief in reincarnation dates back as far as the ancient Egyptians.
Greek philosophers such as Pythagoras, Socrates and Plato all held belief in a spiritual rebirth or a transmigration of the soul. But did you know that these ideas are also present in the teachings of Islam?
Although modern Muslim scholars refute the concept of karma and reincarnation, the evidence is hidden in plain sight. The Holy Qu’ran states, “And you were dead and he brought you back to life and he shall cause you to die. And he'll bring you back to life. And in the end, she'll gather you unto himself.” (Surah 2:28)
With this Surah described sounds great deal like Samsara. Buddhists and Hindus both believe that all creatures are caught in Samsara, the endless cycle of birth, death and rebirth. What determines our status in this chain is our karma, past and present. Our past actions affect us either positively or negatively in our present actions will also affect us in the future.
The journey of the soul is, in fact, never ending. The soul inhabits one body after another during its evolutionary journey, guided by its karma. You might assume that a soul which incarnates in a human form will come back in a human body in the next life and never reincarnate as a lower species. However, according to both Buddhist and Hindu doctrines, this is simply not the case.
Gautama Buddha taught that rebirth does not necessarily take place as another human being, but as an existence and one of six different realms.
These realms include: Devah, The Heavenly, Azura, the demigod, monsignore, the Human, Tiriac, the animals, Preyta, the Ghosts, and Nariyaka, the residents of Hell.
Hindus believe in a similar arrangement. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krisha explains, “When one dies in the mode of goodness, he attains the pure higher planets.”
When one dies in mode of passion, he takes birth among those engaged in curative activities, and when he dies in the mode of ignorance, he takes birth in the animal kingdom.
According to Krishna, karma is generated only in human life. The lower species are burning up bad karma and gradually rising towards human birth. The residents of the heavenly planets are using up good karma before falling again to the human life on earth.
Considering that it is no surprise that we find the same concept of transmigration of the soul between human and animal bodies in the holy Qu’ran. “Say, shall I inform you of what is worse than that as a penalty from Allah? It is that of those whom Allah has cursed and with whom he became angry, and he made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further stray from the sound way.” (Surah 5:60)
As for the differences in religion, there are several reasons for it. Each messenger came to the people with the law of God, but God gave his messengers the power to adapt that law if they saw it necessary. So each prophet gave out rulings according to the level of understanding of his people, their culture and the necessity of reform in their time.
For example, we see that alcohol was permissible before Mohammed, but seeing the condition of the Arabs in his time, Muhammed saw it necessary to change that. During the time of Moses, there was no limit to the number of wives a man could marry. But Jesus came and told the men among his people they could only marry one. Then later, Mohammed came and told the men among his people that they could marry four wives.
Another reason for the differences in religion is the distortion of the religion and the absence of the messenger. Moses was only absent for 40 nights, and that was enough for the Samari to change the entire religion to the worship of a golden calf.
Then imagine what happened after the absence of Jesus and Mohammed and his family. Whenever the messengers were absent, the religions got taken over by non-working, misguiding scholars who started changing laws according to their own opinions, and used the religion for their own selfish desires, love of wealth, power and status.
Today, there is no religion left that is without distortion. Rather, there is more distortion than there is truth.
And this is another reason why the infallible messenger is an absolute necessity. Only he can separate between truth and falsehood. Today we have many different religions, all in conflict with one another, each one using religion for their own purpose and gain of power. They commit all kinds of atrocities in the name of God. While there is no difference between any of them, since none of them have a messenger from God who is between them.
Then there are the atheists who deny God completely because of what they see from the people of religion and they criticize a dead book while there is no one with knowledge to respond to them. But how can religion be so popular then ?How can there be 2 billion Christians in the world today while Jesus only had 12 disciples? How can there be 1.6 billion Muslims while Imam Al Mahdi had no supporters?
The truth is, it is easy to go to church every Sunday. It is easy to pray five times a day.
It is easy to fast one month a year. But it is hard to sacrifice every single thing you have in this world and to face a tyrant oppressor who is far superior and strength number and equipment.
People look into religion only on a superficial level because they are busy with a thousand different things. And the same goes for the atheists who are only concerned with searching for excuses to oppose religion. But there is a universal truth that you cannot deny if you were honest to yourself, and that is there is no one on the face of this planet who hasn't at one point in time in their life been in need of God. Search for God and then chose to go a different path.
There is a seed of worship in each and every one of us. And there is no one on the face of this planet who doesn't worship one thing or another, knowingly or unknowingly. There is only the worship of God or the worship of the self. And whoever is not led by the desire of God is led by the desire of the self, and is a slave and worshiper of their own self. And there is only one thing that can lead you to the truth, and that is to sincerely ask for the truth and not desire anything else but the truth. So you have to ask yourself.
And be sincere because God does not misguide his sincere servants and he only gives you that which your heart desires.
In Matthew Chapter 22 verse 37 Assess Jesus said on to him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all die heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. And his family said, “Is religion anything but love?” This is the reason why we are still waiting for the Messiah. Two thousand years after he came to Earth, the people do not want God.
They do not love God. They don't like to be given orders. They do not like to be told what to do. They do not want to lose their wealth and put their reputation and life on the line in defense of the truth. They want to worship God from their homes while they live in comfort or deny him altogether and follow their own ideas.
So you might be asking yourself right now, where did all this information come from?
How come no one made these connections before? It's because religion is a man and that man is with us. He is the one that has not asked except that he answers. He is the one who holds the answers to all of life's mysteries. He is the one that has claimed the will of Prophet Mohammed. He is Ahmed, the first Mahdi mentioned, and the holy will of Prophet Muhammad. He is the successor and the door of a Imam al-Mahdi and he is calling all of mankind to God and asking them to help him against their own selves so that this world can be filled with justice and equity.
And so whoever is sincerely asking for the truth has no excuse not to research into this matter and ask themselves, is Imam Ahmed Al Hassan, the truthful, trusted one of our time?
