Is it still open for a believer to excuse himself or herself from this call?

And what will happen to such person in this world and hereafter?

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful,

And All Praises due to God, the Lord of the Worlds,

And May He send His Prayers and Blessings upon Mohammed and the Family of Mohammed, the Imams and the Mahdis,

Imam Ahmed al-Hassan (from him is peace) said : "Whoever wants to believe let him believe and whoever wants to disbelieve let him disbelieve." The matter of faith is between the individual and his Lord. As for what happens to a person in this world and the hereafter, that depends on the person and his heart.
